X-Ray Based Imaging
Without a doubt, Computed Tomography (CT) is still one of the most important imaging techniques in the clinic. Reasons lay in the ease of use, high spatial and temporal resolution and the clear interpretation of physical attenuation values. Moreover, the development of new detector technologies, further reduction of radiation exposure and the research of new and fast mathematical methods for the reconstruction of CT images ensure that Computed Tomography will stay a well established imaging modality in the future.
